Atwood House & Museum to Host February Events

CHATHAM – The cold of winter continues in the region and the Atwood House & Museum in Chatham will host events this month to warm up Cape Codders.

The museum will host the Valentine’s Tea on Monday at 2 p.m.

The popular winter celebration includes delicious homemade refreshments and a creative hat contest.

Local photographer and author Amy Dykens will showcase her book “My Heart Rocks” and harpist Jane Taylor will perform.

A Sunday lecture will also be held February 18 at 2 p.m.

Author John Whelan and photographer Kim Roderiques will discuss their experiences producing their book, “I Am of Cape Cod.”

Books will be available for purchase and there will be a time for signings.

The lecture is first come first serve and doors open at 1:15 p.m.

Admission is $5 and is free for members.
