Gov. Baker to Headline Whelan Re-election Fundraiser

YARMOUTH – The state’s top official will headline a fundraising event for a local state representative next month.

Governor Charlie Baker will come to West Yarmouth on Thursday, December 5 to help support the holiday and re-election campaign fundraiser for Tim Whelan, a Brewster Republican.

The fundraiser is December 5 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at Yarmouth House Restaurant.

“I am humbled that my good friend, Governor Charlie Baker, will spend an evening with my family, friends, and supporters at my re-election campaign reception,” said Whelan in a statement.

“Governor Baker and his administration have been strong supporters of the many initiatives we’ve seen developing here in our community and it’s my honor to welcome him to the Yarmouth House Restaurant to speak with and listen to local folks at my holiday reception.”
