Barnstable Airport Commission Starts Process to Promote Servis

HYANNIS – The Barnstable Airport Commission voted unanimously last week to begin the process to elevate Katie Servis to airport manager.

Servis currently serves as assistant airport manager at the Barnstable Municipal Airport and would replace Bud Breault, who is retiring in the first half of next year.

The commission will now enter into contract negotiations with Servis.

Breault has served as airport manager for eight years.

In his retirement letter to the board of commissioners he strongly recommended Servis be immediately appointed airport manager and offered a contract.

Breault said she is a licensed pilot, is highly qualified, motivated, fully conversant with all matters related to the airport and very knowledgeable of all aspects of the position.
