Barnstable County Deputy Sheriff’s Association to Host Annual Meeting and Awards Dinner

BOURNE – The Barnstable County Deputy Sheriff’s Association will hold its annual Business Meeting, Awards and Raffle Dinner Friday night in Hyannis.

During the event, Sheriff Jim Cummings will present the Lifetime Achievement award to Judge Michael Creedon for decades of public service and the Community Impact Award to the Lyndon Paul Lorusso Foundation for their consistent financial support of worthy causes on Cape Cod.

Community Volunteer Award will be presented to Cape Cod Broadcasting Media’s Cat Wilson for her support of several local charities and State Representative Randy Hunt will receive the Elected Official Award for his focus on the opioid epidemic.

The meeting and dinner will be held at the Resort and Conference Center in Hyannis. The event begins with a cocktail hour at 5:30 p.m. with the dinner starting at 6:30 p.m.

The evening will conclude with the annual “Reverse Raffle” with prizes which range from $100 to $5,000.
