BARNSTABLE – Registered Democrats in the Town of Barnstable will hold a caucus next month in Centerville to elect delegates and alternates to the 2019 Massachusetts Democratic State Convention.
The caucus is Wednesday, June 5 at the Centerville Recreation Center. Registration begins at 6 p.m. with the caucus to start at 6:30.
Participants must be inside by 7 p.m. as the doors will be closed and nomination and voting will begin.
The caucus is open to all registered and pre-registered Democrats in the town.
The town can elect 24 delegates and 3 alternates to the convention.
Youth, minorities, people with disabilities and LGBTQ individuals who were not elected as a delegate or alternate may apply to be an add-on delegate or alternate at the caucus or at www.massdems.org.
The state convention will be September 13-14 at the Mass Mutual Center in Springfield.
