BARNSTABLE – The town of Barnstable is reminding beachgoers to use extra caution in the water as beaches are continuing to lose lifeguard staff.
Not all beaches will have lifeguards leading up to Labor Day Weekend.
Officials are encouraging swimmers to use the buddy system, be aware of your abilities and to observe the water for changes which could result in danger.
