HYANNIS – Barnstable town officials are holding a public meeting next week on the proposed roadway and streetscape improvements planned in the East End of Hyannis.

The meeting will cover design plans and improvements for Main Street from Center Street to the Yarmouth town line, Old Colony Boulevard between South Street and Main Street, and the intersection of South Street, Old Colony Boulevard, and Ocean Street.

The listening session is scheduled for June 14 at Barnstable Town Hall at 5:30 p.m. Representatives from the town’s DPW and Planning and Development department will be on hand to hear from residents.

The project aims to improve vehicle and pedestrian travel in the area while enhancing the aesthetic appearance of the East End.
