Barnstable Open Space And Recreation Plan Available For Questions And Comments

BARNSTABLE – The Town of Barnstable will hold a public meeting at which members of the community can comment on the Open Space and Recreation Plan. 

It’s scheduled for 6:00 on Thursday the 8th at the Selectmen’s Conference Room on Main Street in Hyannis. 

The comprehensive plan addresses goals for land preservation,  agriculture, and  recreation.  It examines trails, wildlife habitat, beaches, ball fields and more. 

The meeting will start with a short presentation of this year’s plan, which will be followed by the public’s opportunity to examine it and talk about their priorities relating to what lies within.

Comments regarding the plan, which is available on the town’s website, will be accepted until Monday the 12th at noon.
