Barnstable Repainting Lines on Main Roads

BARNSTABLE – The Town of Barnstable Highway division will be repainting roadway lines over the next few weeks.

The double yellow centerlines, white edge lines and transition lines into stop bars and crosswalks will be repainted on all main roads through June 23.

Work hours will be between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. Sunday through Thursday, weather permitting.

Motorists are asked to stay off recently painted lines. Paint is expected to be dry 15 minutes after application.

Traffic during painting operations will be delayed and motorists are advised to seek alternate routes to avoid the work.
