Barnstable Seeks to Fill New Homeless Outreach Coordinator Position

BARNSTABLE – The town of Barnstable is seeking applicants for a new position which will help to solve homelessness issues.

The town is hiring a Homeless Outreach Coordinator who will serve as a communications point between the Town Manager’s office and local service agencies. He or she will also to coordinate the town-wide provision of services for homeless individuals with the goal of easing chronic homelessness.

Candidates should have experience in homeless outreach, administration and program management, along with inter-agency coordination within the social service field. They should also have strong verbal and written communication skills.

The position is grant funded and is contacted for $100,000 from June 2016 through June 2017.
