Barnstable Town Clerk Receives Master Designation

HYANNIS – Barnstable Town Clerk Ann Quirk has been awarded the designation of Master Municipal Clerk.

The International Municipal Clerks, Inc. grants the master designation to clerks who complete educational requirements and have a record of significant contributions to their local government, community and state.

The non-profit corporation works to enhance the professional development and educational opportunities for its 14,000 members in the US, Canada and 15 other countries.

Barnstable Town Manager Mark Ells said the community can take pride in Quirk’s educational accomplishments and achievement of the milestone.
