BARNSTABLE – The Barnstable Town Manager Search Committee will meet this afternoon to discuss their next steps in finding the next top official in the Cape’s largest town.
Councilors have received three bids from firms interested in leading the search process: the Edward J. Collins Jr. Center for Public Management at the University of Massachusetts at Boston, Gov HR USA, and New Hampshire firm Municipal Resources Inc.
The Collins Center was the low quote at $19,000. Gov HR came in at $19,500 and Municipal Resources came in at $20,000.
But at their last meeting, the committee also talked about cancelling the quote process and starting a request for proposals process instead.
Today’s meeting starts at 4:30 pm at Barnstable Town Hall.
