Barnstable Youth Commission Plans Second Annual Youth Summit

BARNSTABLE – The Barnstable Youth Commission’s second annual Community Prevention Forum and Seventh Grade Youth Summit runs for two days, starting March 17.

The forum will be held at Cape Cod Community College and is focused on providing students with a game plan to help them resist the temptation of drugs and pressures associate with high school culture.

The Community Prevention Forum will take place on March 17 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

The Seventh Grade Youth Summit will be held on March 18 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Featured speakers include Robert Hackenson Jr. of Dynamic Influence and Anita Baglaneas Devlin and Michael Devlin, co-authors of the book S.O.B.E.R.
