HYANNIS – The Barnstable Youth Hockey Program will be getting more resources to help make it more affordable and for expansion.
Their ninth annual fishing tournament will take place on Thursday, June 28th. $40,000 was raised last year and organizers are hoping to top that.
Over 150 anglers will climb aboard up to 30 boats to take part in this year’s tournament. There will be a Captain’s Dinner the night before, with another one happening after the tourney, which will include an awards ceremony.
The tournament is seeking sponsorship donations from local businesses, along with donated items for the captain’s buckets and raffle prizes.
