Barnstable’s Finance Reporting Honored for 14th Straight Year

BARNSTABLE – The town of Barnstable has received a governmental accounting award for the 14^th year in a row.

The Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting has been awarded to Finance Director Mark Milne by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada.

The award is in recognition of the town’s comprehensive annual financial report.

The report was found to have a “spirit of full disclosure” by the award panel.
