Barnstable’s Recycling Program to Get Monetary Recognition from State

BARNSTABLE – The town of Barnstable will receive $10,500 in recycling grant funds from the Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs.

The majority of that money, $9,000, comes from the Recycling Dividends Program, which recognizes municipalities that use procedures which promote recycling and waste reduction.

Another $1,500 came through the Small-Scale Initiative Grant Program and will assist the town in buying recycling materials and outreach tools.
