Barnstable County Commission candidate Ron Beaty is offering a $500 reward for this stolen campaign sign.

YARMOUTH – A candidate for local office is offering a $500 reward after one of his campaign signs was stolen.

Republican Ron Beaty, who is running for Barnstable County Commissioner, says a large sign of his along with a few others were stolen from a property on the corner of Willow Street and Route 28 in South Yarmouth. Beaty is offering $500 to anyone who provides information “leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons” who stole the sign.

Beaty has reported the incident to Yarmouth Police. 

There are two available seats on the Commission. Beaty, fellow Republican Linda Bond, and Democrats Mark Forest and incumbent Mary Pat Flynn are running for the positions.

Election Day is November 8. Early voting is underway in Massachusetts.
