HYANNIS – The organization which connects children with mentors in the community has moved to 684 Main Street, Hyannis.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cape Cod and the Islands spent 22 years at its Centerville location.
Executive Director for Big Brothers Big Sisters Hadley Luddy says the new location, which just about doubles their workspace, will assist in the completion of several initiatives.
“We are in the midst of a strategic growth plan where we plan to double the number of children we serve in our region,” Luddy said. “This will allow us to enroll new children and work with more volunteers.”
Luddy said the organization has already made 85 new children-mentor matches, an increase of over 25% in the last couple of years.
The new space is expected to allow for 12 employees.
