SANDWICH – The Sandwich Bikeways and Pedestrian Committee is inviting the public to take part in a Bike Your Park day ride on September 29, a worldwide event that encourages people to explore parks and public lands by bicycles the same day.
The event includes riders of any age and skill, riders gather at the Shawme-Crowell State Forest at 1:00 on the 29th and can ride either on their own or on the park’s dirt trails with a NEMBA guide on the park’s dirt trails.

In the past 2 years, over 20,000 people in all 50 states and 10 countries have participated in Bike Your Park Day. Adventure Cycling Association, a nonprofit bicycling organization, coordinates the event.
