Blue Rock Golf Course to Host 14th Turkey Shoot-Out

SOUTH YARMOUTH – The Blue Rock Golf Course in South Yarmouth is once again teaming up with the non-profit Create the Good to provide Thanksgiving Dinners for local families in need.

The course will host its 14^th annual Turkey Shoot-Out & Food Pantry Drive on November 17 and 18.

A portion of golfer entry fees during the two days will be donated to Create the Good. The non-profit was started in 2010 by a group of Yarmouth parents to provide food for students of the Dennis-Yarmouth school system.

Donations of canned goods, non-perishable food items and grocery store gift cards from the public will also be accepted.

Last year, 125 Thanksgiving dinners were provided to families in need and this year’s goal is 150.
