Yarmouth Senior Services Plans Winter Book Club

YARMOUTH – The Division of Senior Services in Yarmouth has announced the “Winter Theme” for their Friday Book Club through April.

“Interspirituality” will be featured during weekly meetings at the senior center.  One book on the topic will be read and discussed each month.

Interspirituality believes that beyond religion, race, gender, or any of the various ways we’re taught to believe we are different, we are actually all one.

It includes communities of elders and spiritual friends as opposed to traditional ladder structures of teachers, students, followers, or dogma.

Attendees will be incorporating joy, sensuality, celebration and heartfelt aliveness.

The club meets from 12:00 to 1:00 PM in the senior center’s conference room.

Books are ordered through the library or purchased.

For more information and to notify the club of your attendance, call 508-394-7606, X  1330.
