BOSTON (AP) — A Boston university says a woman who survived the Boston Marathon bombing and another student have been killed in a car accident in Dubai.

A Northeastern University spokesman says 23-year-old Victoria McGrath, who was seriously injured by shrapnel in the 2013 bombing, died in the accident. The school has identified the other student who was killed as Priscilla Perez Torres.

Northeastern says both students were on a personal trip and not studying abroad. McGrath was scheduled to graduate this spring from Northeastern’s school of business. She was originally from Weston, Connecticut.

The U.S. Embassy in Abu Dhabi declined to comment.
