NANTUCKET – “RAIN: A Tribute to The Beatles”, has been announced as the special musical guest for the annual Boston Pops on Nantucket concert.
Now in its 22nd year, the show will benefit Nantucket Cottage Hospital.
“RAIN” is a popular, long running show that includes a wide variety of selections from what many people consider the greatest band of all time. The set list includes some of the complex compositions that they never performed live, having given up touring in favor of studio work.
The Boston Pops on Nantucket has been the most popular summer event on the island for more than two decades. It allows thousands to enjoy a unique experience at Jetties Beach while helping to raise funds for Nantucket Cottage Hospital.
Tickets are on sale and can be purchased at NantucketHospital.org/pops.
The show is scheduled for Aug. 11th.
