BOURNE – A truck fire on Christmas Eve at a home in Buzzards Bay was among over two dozen calls that Bourne firefighters responded to throughout the day.
Firefighters say an electrical issue caused a fire to engulf a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado at a home on Queens Bay Lane.
Firefighters were careful to extinguish the fire as it was close to the home and arching wires.
There were no injuries and firefighters were able to quickly knock down the blaze.
Of the other fires, there were mostly fire alarms that were false alarms and medical issues, according to a Bourne firefighter.
