Bourne Police Issue Arrest Warrant for Falmouth Man for Hit-and-Run

police carBOURNE – Bourne police issued an arrest warrant for a Falmouth man they allege intentionally struck a 68-year-old acquaintance with a van on Sunday morning.

Charles McKeen III, 65, is wanted for attempted murder, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license and leaving the scene of a personal injury accident.

Police said the victim was reportedly struck by a white 1994 Chevrolet van with Florida registration M445XT on Commerce Park Drive just before 8 a.m.

The victim suffered serious injuries and was taken to Rhode Island Hospital in Providence.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of McKeen or the white van are asked to contact Bourne police.
