Boys and Girls Club of Cape Cod to Honor Supporters in New Hall of Fame

KA_Cape Cod Boys and Girls Club_mashpee_030816_004MASHPEE- The Boys and Girls Club of Cape Cod are holding their inaugural Golf Hall of Fame at this year’s annual golf tournament.

The organization will honor long-standing tournament supporters at this year’s 19th annual event, which will be held on August 1 at the County Club of New Seabury.

The Hall of Fame class includes the Kraft Family and the New England Patriots Charitable Foundation and Bill and Linda Zammer and Cape Cod Restaurants.

“These are some of the people who have really stuck with us over the 19 years of supporting our kids through this golf tournament,” said Club Executive Director Ruth Provost.

Other honorees include Tony Gargiulo, Sam Lorusso and Cape Cod Aggregates, and Ray Wysocki, Christine McCartney and the team at SRC Sales and Marketing.

The tournament will be held on the Ocean Course at New Seabury Country Club with a box lunch at 12 p.m. and a shotgun start at 1 p.m.

The tournament is followed by a dinner, hall of fame induction and live and silent auctions on the beach at the Popponesset Inn at 5:30 p.m.

Among the items that will be auctioned off at the event, include four tickets to a Patriot’s home game, a two-bedroom condo resort in Orlando and four tickets to Big Pappi’s last game.

“We’re inviting the community to come in and help us honor these amazing individuals who have been there for 963 kids this year, but thousands of kids over the last 19 years,” said Provost.
