MASHPEE – The Boys and Girls Club of Cape cod will be opening up registration for summer day camp programs in March.
The organization offers field trip-based programs in June, July, and August for all children ages 6-15.
Registration begins on Saturday, March 10 from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Boys and Girls Club location on Frank Hicks Drive in Mashpee. An open house will be held where those interested can learn more about the program and meet the head counselors for the Summer Camp.
The nine-week program is open to any child who lives on Cape Cod or is visiting for the summer.
The tuition cost is $165 per week for the first child and $150 for any additional children. Two to three field trips are planned per week for the camp, with the cost for most of the trips covered in the tuition.
Payment plans and scholarships are available for families with a documented need.
Space is limited for the camp and organization officials say it fills up fast. Those looking for financial aid should begin the process immediately on March 10.
The camp is broken down into four groups for children in grades 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, and 7-9.
Camp hours are 9-5 daily from June 25 to August 24.
