BREWSTER – The Brewster Community Network is hosting a forum at the Ladies Library on November 27th to discuss articles ahead of Town Meeting on December 3rd.
Topics include escaping accounting problems, adding accessory dwellings and changing course on recreational marijuana.
There will also be a panel to dicuss town-sponsored articles and will include Select Board Chair Cindy Bingham, a representative from the Finance Committee, Assistant Administrator Donna Kalinick, Planner Ryan Bennett and Affordable Housing Planner Jill Scalese.
On recreational marijuana, the Network has invited a representative from the petitioning group to speak.
James Borghesani, Director of Community Outreach for The Haven Center, which is farthest along in getting state and town approval as a retail business, has also been invited to speak.
Leaders of the other two organizations with signed host agreements have been invited, and Town Planner Ryan Bennett will be available to explain approval processes and zoning aspects.
