Brewster Dog Park Development Committee Seeking Input for Park Design

BREWSTER – The Brewster Dog Park Development Committee is moving ahead with design work for the town’s new dog park and is looking for input from residents.

The committee will meet Thursday, October 11 at 6 p.m. at Brewster Town Hall to discuss the park design concept and specific site location.

Another meeting on Thursday, October 25 at 6 p.m. will focus on the final design.

Individuals who cannot attend either meeting can submit suggestions or ideas by emailing [email protected], or by mailing them to Dog Park Development Committee; c/o Brewster Town Offices; 2198 Main Street, Brewster, MA 02631.

The town has selected Berkshire Design Group to design the park. It received a $25,000 grant from the Stanton Foundation to be used for design costs.

Last year, the Select Board approved building the park on the 21-acre parcel that houses the Police Facility and Brewster Memorial Cemetery on Harwich Road.
