Brewster Man Arrested on Heroin Charges After 2-Month Probe

KA_Brewster_Police15_111615BREWSTER – A two month investigation into heroin dealing in the Mid-Cape area resulted in the arrest of a Brewster man Tuesday night.

Dean Viprino, 43, of Brewster, initially tried to flee when stopped by Brewster police but was eventually caught near his home.

The K-9 unit “Koda” from the Sandwich Police Department was used in the arrest and also located a bag allegedly containing 10 grams of heroin.

Brewster police say a search of Viprino’s home turned up Suboxone and Hydromorphone.

He was arrested and charged with multiple counts of drug possession and intent to distribute, as well as failure to stop for police and operation of an unlicensed vehicle.

Brewster police were also assisted by officers from  Yarmouth and the Cape Cod Drug Task Force.
