Brewster Planning Board to Hold Public Hearings on Accessory Dwelling Units

BREWSTER – The Brewster Planning Board will soon be holding public hearings to discuss the Accessory Dwelling Unit zoning bylaw and the Special Event bylaw.

The Town will discuss with the public the possibility of amending the Accessory Dwelling Unit bylaw by changing the definition of an Accessory Commercial Dwelling Unit (ACDU).

The Town will also discuss its upcoming vote to amend the Licensed Special Event Venue Use bylaw. The purpose of the amendment is to determine the frequency of events that may proceed on an annual basis upon receipt of a license from the Select Board. The amendment also calls for a process of permitting more frequent events.

The public hearing will take place at Brewster Town Hall on Wednesday, October 10 at 7:00 p.m.
