OSTERVILLE – The Barnstable Department of Public Works will be paving Bridge Street in Osterville beginning on Tuesday, June 10.
Paving work is expected to be completed by the end of the day, weather permitting.
The rain date is Wednesday, June 11.
The limits of work include the entire length of Bridge Street.
Vehicle access during the paving operations will be restricted to one lane.
Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes to avoid the construction work.
Work will start promptly at 7 AM and run until 5 PM, after which traffic will be opened back onto both lanes of the roadway.
Bridge Street residents who have to leave during these hours are advised to park their vehicles outside of the paving limits.
Drivers are asked to slow down and use extreme caution when traveling through the road construction areas and follow posted safety signs.
