Burglary in Wellfleet

WELLFLEET –  A nasty surprise for some Seasonal Residents.

Homeowners in Wellfleet left the Cape on Labor Day and returned on September 16^th to discover their home on Thoreau Way had been stripped of nearly all of its furnishings while they were away.

Wellfleet police are investigating the incident and provided a list of almost three dozen items that had been taken, incuding artwork, furniture and expensive rugs.

A partial list includes: Scandanavian rugs, chairs, end tables, appliances,  linens, and many other items.
