Business Group Endorses Rep. Whelan’s Re-Election Bid

BREWSTER – 1st Barnstable State Representative Tim Whelan (R-Brewster) has been endorsed in his campaign for re-election by the National Federation of Independent Businesses PAC.

“We thank you for your commitment to the needs of thousands of Main Street small businesses and their more than one-million employees in Massachusetts during your service on Beacon Hill,” said NFIB MA Director Christopher Carlozzi.

Founded in 1943, the NFIB advocates for local small businesses across the country.

“Small business is the life-blood of our economy here on Cape Cod.  From retail to hospitality and everywhere in between, our hard-working small business owners deserve a state government that enables and supports their success and growth”, Whelan said in a statement.

“I am deeply grateful to NFIB for their support and look forward to our future work in support of our small businesses community.”

Democrat Steve Leibowitz of Brewster is looking to unseat Whelan.
