FALMOUTH – The Buzzards Bay Coalition is continuing to host heated boat tours around the bay this winter to bring area residents up close and personal with the wildlife of our waters.
Watch for wintering seals and seabirds with the Buzzards Bay Coalition. Search for and learn about these playful mammals and the visiting seabirds while warm and comfortable on a heated up boat ride.
The Coalition asks participants to dress warmly for the boat ride and to bring extra layers of clothing.
Binoculars will also be provided, but participants are asked to bring any extra sets of binoculars they can. Cameras are also welcome onboard.
The Seal & Seabird Cruise will take off from Patriot Boats, located at 227 Clinton Avenue in Falmouth, at 10:00 a.m. and will run until 11:30 a.m.
Admission is $20 Coalition members and $30 nonmembers. Children 12 and under pay $15 for admission. Children three and under are admitted for free.
Participants can park for free at the marina.
