ACUSHNET – The Buzzards Bay Coalition will hold its Annual Meeting Saturday to discuss its accomplishments over the past year and plans for the future.
The coalition works to protect clean water in Bourne and Falmouth through education, conservation, research and advocacy.
The meeting will also feature the presentation of the Coalition’s Guardian Awards, which are the organization’s highest honor. Guardians demonstrate outstanding service in cleanup, restoration, or protection of Buzzards Bay as a volunteer, organization, public official or employee.
A reception with supporters will follow.
The meeting is from 4 to 6 p.m. at The Sawmill public park on Mill Road in Acushnet.
The event is free and open to the public.
