Cabaretfest Returning This Spring to Provincetown

PROVINCETOWN – The popular CabaretFest is returning to Provincetown from May 31st to June 3rd

Cabaret veterans from around the country will join with newcomers to present ten shows, focusing on the soulful, sophisticated music and glamorous nightlife of the 1950s.

Many related activities will take place, including two workshops, a Q&A session, networking and an Open Mic party.

World famous and renowned cabaret artist Marilyn Maye will present a master class on the 31st, offering a rare opportunity outside of New York City.  Ella Fitzgerald called Maye “the greatest white, female singer in the world.”

Festival headliner Jeff Harnar will perform his show “The 1959 Broadway Songbook” on the 2nd.  He was acknowledged as “the most important male cabaret performer since Michael Feinstein” by the New York Times.
