COTUIT – The Cahoon Museum of Art  is hosting its 4th Annual Small Works Show featuring fine art from 38 contemporary Cape Cod artists.

This popular invitational exhibit celebrates the high level of creativity of emerging and established local artists; artworks are for sale as a benefit for the Cahoon Museum.

Artists featured in the exhibit include: Sandi Blanda, Howard L. Bonington, Edith Cohenno Bryant, Don Cadoret, Betsy Payne Cook, Cynthia Cronig, Stanley Cronig, Dan Cutrona, Anne Doyle, Jane Eccles, Jason Eldredge and Ziegmont Guzikowski.

There is still time to get in your holiday shopping while supporting the arts.

The Cahoon Museum of Art is located at 4676 Falmouth Road in Cotuit.

Hours are Tuesday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Admission is $10 and $8 for seniors and students; free for members and children under 12.

The small works show runs until December 23.

The Mission of the Cahoon Museum is to promote love and enjoyment of the visual arts through exhibits, educational programs, and continuing development of its permanent collection.

The museum both celebrates the legacy of Cape Cod folk artists Ralph and Martha Cahoon, displaying their art and preserving the historic building that was their home and studio, and embraces the full vitality of American art with emphasis on past and present artists of Cape Cod and the Northeast.
