HYANNIS – A non-profit which serves individuals with disabilities on Cape Cod recently received a grant from the Massachusetts Bankers Association Charitable Fund.
Cape Abilities was awarded $5,000 from the fund, which is supported by approximately 150 banking organiztions, after being nominated by Cape Cod Five.
“Cape Cod Five has been a longstanding stalwart partner of Cape Abilities and we are honored that they nominated us for this recognition and we truly appreciate the generosity of the MBA Charitable Foundation,” said Rosalie Edes, the president/executive director of Cape Abilities. “Grants like this go directly to fund the services that make a difference in the lives of those we serve.”
The non-profit serves disabled individuals by educating, counseling, providing residential, social, therapeutic and employment supports to empower them to achieve meaningful and valued roles in society.
