HYANNIS – A $20,000 grant has been given to Cape Abilities by the Knights of Columbus.
The nonprofit organization serves individuals with disabilities through education and counseling as well as therapeutic, employment, social and residential supports.
The funds will go towards providing multi-sensory equipment.
The Knights of Columbus raised more than $150,000 last year for people with disabilities across the state. They acknowledged that Cape Abilities’ many programs make an immense difference in the lives of those they serve.
Their programs are run in Falmouth, Hyannis and Eastham.
