Cape Abilities to Cut Ribbon on Re-located Gift Shop

thrift shop Cape AbilitiesWEST YARMOUTH – A grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony will be held next week at the new location for the Cape Abilities Thrift Shop.

The thrift shop has moved to the Bass Outlet Mall on Route 28 in West Yarmouth.

Cape Abilities is a nonprofit organization that serves individuals with disabilities and Cape Cod and has developed entrepreneurial businesses that support vocational skills training for participants and creates jobs for them to become contributing members of society.

The thrift shop sells donated home décor items and also sells furniture that has been refinished by participants in the Cape Abilities Furniture Rescue & Restoration program.

The store opens at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 7 with an 11 a.m. ribbon cutting.
