HYANNIS – Cape Abilities recently welcomed 13 teachers from around the world to tour their homes and businesses.
The teachers, who specialize in educating children with visual impairments and other disabilities, also attended an Educational Leadership Program at the Perkins School for the Blind in Watertown to learn educational and vocational programs to utilize in their home countires.
The educators were from Africa, Asia, Latin America, Europe, the Caribbean and the Middle East.
Cape Abilities is a non profit organization that serves individuals with disabilities on Cape Cod.
