COTUIT – Cape Codders are invited to support local theater by attending the fourth annual Season Highlights Theater Celebration featuring a reception, showcase performances, some prizes and surprises.
This year’s event is sponsored by Cape Air and emceed by State Senator Dan Wolf as the Theater Coalition celebrates their 20th anniversary.
The Theater Coalition was founded by five members in 1995 with the help of the Cape Cod Five Bank and membership is now at 26 theaters.
The year’s celebration will include performances from founding member theaters: Academy of Performing Arts, Cape Rep Theater, and Harwich Junior Theater (now the Cape Cod Theatre Company), as well as a special performance from the Cotuit Center for the Arts.
The casual evening includes complimentary wine, plenty of hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar and cabaret seating for the performances.
The event takes place on Tuesday, October 13, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Cotuit Center for the Arts with general admission tickets available for $50 and members of the friends of theater tickets at $40.

Proceeds from the evening go to support the Cape and Islands Theater Coalition and its 26 individual non-profit member theaters.
