Cape and Islands to Warm Up After Frigid Morning

HYANNIS – Frigid temperatures remain for Cape Cod and the Islands this morning but relief from the cold is coming.

A Wind Chill Advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service through late this morning with wind chill values as low as -18.

Temperatures will reach into the upper teens this afternoon before rising into the mid 20s throughout the evening and overnight hours.

High temperatures Monday and Tuesday will reach around 40 degrees.
