RYE HARBOR, N.H. – Coast Guard crews from Air Station Cape Cod have been actively assisting in the search for a missing paddle border off the coast of New Hampshire.
Rescue personnel were called into action just after 8 p.m. Thursday night when local law enforcement received reports of a woman in apparent distress.
The paddle boarder was last spotted about a half mile off shore around 8:30 p.m. before disappearing from sight.
Helicopter and fixed wing crews searched last night and at first light this morning just north of Rye Harbor.
