Cape Cod 5 Bank Awards $25,000 to WE CAN

HYANNIS – In honor of the 25 years of continued service, Cape Cod Five and Dorothy Savarese have given a $25,000 donation to the ‘WE Can’ women’s empowering Movement.

“Savarese has been a mentor and inspiration to so many in our community. She has also been a strong supporter of WE CAN’s mission of empowering Cape women to create lasting, positive change for themselves and their families,” said Pam Kukla, President of WE CAN’s Board of Directors.

“We are tremendously grateful for this gift, which honors and celebrates such an extraordinary woman,” says Kukla.

‘WE CAN’ is an organization that provides woman with unique services that are aimed at inspiring hope and increased opportunity to all who go through the program. This is done through the process of building self-sufficiency and stability for women on, and off the Cape.

During her tenure at Cape Cod 5, Savarese has managed to grow the company into the largest bank on Cape Cod, and the Islands with over $3.2 billion dollars in assets.
