BARNSTABLE – One of the cape’s first art institutions has changed its name. The Cape Cod Art Association will now be known as Cape Cod Art Center.
The change was made by the Board of Directors to better represent what is one of the most popular centers of the Cape’s art scene.
They provide a supportive environment for exhibition, education and community among artists.
The Center’s 70th anniversary is next year and a full slate of commemorative exhibitions, lectures and events will take place.
It is located on Rt. 6A in Barnstable.
