BARNSTABLE – The Cape Cod Art Association will kick off its next member exhibit this week in Barnstable Village.

“2D Meets 3D” will run from Wednesday, January 20 through February 14.

The exhibit will feature the works of juried artist members along with pieces from local Cape Cod craftsmen.

Some of the artists whose work will be on display include David Lewis, Kevin Nolan, Chris Young, Michael Magyar, James Gallagher and Michael McCarthy.

Cape Cod Art Association Gallery Manager Kate Walls says the exhibit will be interesting and will include work of artisans in the community that don’t usually exhibit with the association.

The opening reception and award ceremony for the exhibit will be held on Thursday, January 21 from 5 to 7 p.m. The public is invited to attend.

The Art Association is located at 3480 Route 6A in Barnstable and is open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sundays.
