Cape Cod Art Center to Launch New Digital Art Program

BARNSTABLE – The Cape Cod Art Center in Barnstable is launching a new Digital Art program.

Meetings for the program will be held every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. with the next meeting on January 16.

Digital Art is an essential part of the creative or presentation process which uses various digital technologies and include the use of computers, mobile or handheld devices.

The meetings will discuss the use of apps, software, the creative process, issues, critiques of works and other topics of interest in the digital art field.

The gatherings are open to the public and artists of all media are invited to attend.

Additional classes and workshops will also be offered throughout the year.

Blending with iColorama will be held on January 13 and painting with iColorama is January 21. The cost is $75 for members and $95 for non-members for each workshop.

A Compositing Techniques with Photoshop workshop is February 10 and $70 for members and $90 for non-members.
