Cape Cod Boy Scouts Look To Improve Camp Greenough

greenough_signYARMOUTH PORT – The Cape Cod & Islands Council, Boy Scouts of America is expected to make an announcement this week on a project to modernize Camp Greenough in Yarmouth Port.

The group will detail plans to build a year-round Welcome and Education Center, which will include a STEM Education and Training Room. The announcement will be made Thursday.

The organization plans to start a capital campaign to raise funds for the construction of the new building, which would replace an aging facility at the site. It’s not yet clear how much money they seek to raise.

The camp has been hosting scout programs since the 1940’s.
